President of North Dakota Jump$tart Coalition and North Dakota State Treasurer Kelly Schmidt speaks at the first Jump$tart press conference. The state of North Dakota has committed to improve the personal financial literacy of all North Dakotans and the Rural Development Council is proud to be part of this new coaliton.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gerard Braud, an international trainer and professional speaker, presented at the Rural Development Council co-hosted seminiar Modern Lessons from Stone Age People. This event was attended by the members of several organizations across the state.

 

 

 

 

 

  


Tara presented to over 80 participants at the annual NDHFA Statewide Housing Conference. She discussed the benefits of doing small scale community surveys regarding housing needs. We have posted some examples of surveys under Housing News on our site.

 

 

 

 

 

Rural Development Day at the Capitol was a great success with statewide participation of communities, programs and non-profits. The RDC participated by showcasing our programs to legislators and the public.
